As far as I am concered, the entire success of my upcoming wedding is dependant on the weather. I know that all brides hope for sunshine on their wedding day but I really and truly believe that I am far more deserving of this small gift of nature than any other brides to be. Whenever I see amazing landscape photography pictures I always imagine that it would be very difficult to take such nice pictures. I think it would be hard because I know that when I go on holidays I take my camera with me that my pictures are never very good. But when you compare my pictures to the ones you see the professionals take they look amazing and they look so different. I guess maybe sometimes the reason is because the quality of the camera, but it is more likely due to the fact that they are just a much more skilled photographer and I am. I’m happy to take my pictures on my holiday travels and try to enjoy them as much as I can even though they are not very good.
Turkeys on Thanksgiving
With Thanksgiving coming around soon (only two months away!) all the teachers at my school are getting ready for the big turkey crafts fiesta. The big thing this year is that they want to teach everybody how to draw a turkey. I think that’s fine, but they should realize that even the little kids are getting a bit worn down by all the turkey stuff around Thanksgiving. The problem is that it all starts so soon, with all the promotions in the stores and all the television commercials and all the chatter among people planning their Thanksgiving day dinners that by the time it is actually Thanksgiving day, we’re all worn out. Except, of course, by the time you sit down to Thanksgiving dinner you aren’t even thinking about Thanksgiving any more. You are thinking about Christmas, and “Black Friday” which is the biggest shopping holiday of the year. Its kind of like we really don’t have holidays any more… we have sales events.
A New Photographer Emerges
I work in a small art gallery on the outskirts of town. We specialise in local artists, and change exhibitions regularly. I enjoy my role there which is mostly being on duty to welcome visitors to the gallery and assist with purchases. I am not an artist myself but I have developed something of an eye for spotting talented young artists and have started to become more involved in the selection of upcoming exhibitions. One I am quite excited about is an exhibition of exquisite landscape photography. The photographer is basically unknown, but he has created some stunning images. We are going to exhibit his work for three weeks early in the fall. His work includes some beautiful natural scenery, including rocky seascapes and remote mountain scenes. He has also prepared some very interesting abstract images of natural textures, light reflections and macro photographs. We are launching the exhibition with speeches and drinks and are hopeful it will be a great success.

Sigma 10-20 3.5 is Excellent for the Money
The Sigma 10-20 3.5 is an excellent wide angle lens for the money. I am a Canon EOS 7D user and I just purchased this lens from an online store. All the images that I got from this lens are very sharp. I have not compared this lens to the Canon 10-22mm lens, but I heard from many people that they are not that different. Considering the price that you pay for the Sigma, this lens truly provides excellent value for money. The images that this lens produces are simply sharp. The optimal aperture of this lens is at f/4. When you shoot at that aperture or smaller, you will be surprised with the results that you get. The only drawback on this lens is that it is a bit soft at the 10mm f/3.5 aperture. This is a typical problem for any APS-C lens and it is not something that you should worry about.

I recently came across a picture that I had taken by the Charleston photographers. The picture was the epitome of perfection. I suddenly had the idea to get a good artist to paint the picture for me. But right there and then, I began to ask myself why I would want to turn a perfect piece of art into another piece of art? Isn’t that a waste of money? All I would be doing basically would be duplicating a piece of art in another medium. I began to see how that was not wise, or even smart. If I want to have a painting done, it should be done out of a living model. So I decided right there and then that I would have a portrait of myself done, and that I would actually pose for it.
